The Pôle Mer Méditerranée was certified by the State in 2005 as a competitiveness cluster with global objectives.
The Pôle Mer Méditerranée aims to promote sustainable development of the maritime and coastal economy in the Mediterranean, Europe and the rest of the world.
In Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, the Occitania region and Corsica, the Pôle brings together scientific and economic operators. Since 2005, it has labeled more than 500 innovative projects, 3/4 of which have obtained public co-financing.
Acting as a true driver of innovation and competitiveness, the Pôle Mer Méditerranée is structured around 6 Strategic Business Areas, shared with the Pôle Mer Bretagne Atlantique.
