Owner of the Estarac site in Boussens (France), historically dedicated to Oil&Gas research and exploitation, STC is a leader in geological filing and archiving. Our infrastructures have been thought and developed in order to offer a wide range of services to companies, owning or in charge of geological heritage, on a secured and guarded site, from filing to analyses.The STC core storage facilities has adapted conservation methods and relies on a dedicated software with secured access for off-site consultation, owns performing tools (slabbing and sampling saws, plug trimmers,…), a high quality white light and UV photography bench, a core display room with a capacity of 750 linear meters, and accomodates a geological laboratory, named Phi-Core. Thin sectioning, XRD analyses, density, porosity, permeability, particle size distribution are offered among others.
